About these Workshops.
These will be my 10th/11th classroom based workshops since I started my original ‘Beating Heart’ course way back in 2015.
This time you can choose between Wedding Photography or Wedding Videography (or even both).
Although the new workshops are still very much classroom based, this time I’ll be doing things a little differently.
I’ve created this series of workshops focussing on ‘micro lessons’.
Hundreds of bite sized thoughts and advice points, each numbered, sub-sectioned and documented clearly. Hundreds of knowledge segments that I’ve been writing for years, all designed to offer clear advice and guidance on both Photography and Videography.

Located in the heart of Lancaster’s historic castle district, the Storey is just a 5 minute walk from Lancaster train station (West Coast Mainline) and dozens of reasonable accommodation options (I’ll send you links).
Basic Itinerary
Pre-workshop drinks at a local restaurant on the evening before the first days learning.
Both days will start at 9:30am and will end at 5pm.
Tea / Coffee / Light Refreshments Provided throughout
Restaurant booked (1 minute away) for dinner on the evening of Day One at 7pm.
Day Two ends with pizza and awards ceremony.
Casual drinks following the end of day two (not essential) 6pm Onwards.

FAQ’s
How much of this is covered in your Online Masterclass?
I’ve actively tried to create a completely new course to that of my original masterclass. Not only has my approach changed greatly over the last 5 years but I’ve also learned a lot. I want to go much deeper than the masterclass too and by creating more concentrated learned zones I feel I can provide a more organised and in-depth learning experience. I’d like this to work as both a standalone course and a sequel to the masterclass. Obviously, I’ll probably re-cover a few things but most of the content is brand new.
I’m a complete beginner. Does this matter?
Not at all. I’ve been running workshops now for 10 years and we’ve welcomed both complete beginners and vastly experienced Photographers and Videographers into each. There’s nothing hugely technical about anything that I cover. It’s just solid advice and guidance that I incorporate into my own business. Everyone leaves inspired with a head full of new knowledge, no matter how experienced they are.
I’m interested in attending both the Photography and the Videography courses. Does any of the information cross over?
