1/6 My wedding photography is about finding real genuine moments and connecting with you and your guests in a way that lets me immerse myself naturally into the wedding. I’m a Wedding Photographer who prefers to shoot from the inside not as an onlooker. It allows me to create an authentic collection of photographs that represent who you really are. Real, honest, beautiful wedding photography that will look as incredible now as they will in 100 years time.
CONNECTIONS OVER CAMERAS
2/6 I firmly believe that only 10% of my work involves a camera. For me it’s about connecting with people. I want to be a guest with a camera, shooting totally relaxed from the inside. It’s my ability to work with people that’s been the foundation of any success I’ve had. Being equally comfortable with the girls, the guys, the oldies, the kids, and the troublemakers from uni who you’ll always sit at the back.
I observe, I join in and I capture every real moment that’s happening. Nothing staged, nothing forced. Just you guys and the people who love you. I also want to bring over 16 years of experience to the table. The calming influence, the advice giver. Provider of hugs and high fives. I’ve been there hundreds of times before and trust me – experience matters.

3/6 I see myself as a professional observer. Ready to pounce discreetly when something happens. your wedding day will be packed full of a thousand moments that you’ll likely miss as you get swept along with the ride. It’s my job to preserve these micro moments in a way that tells a true story of the complete event.
Your eye will be on those beautiful social media driven images that show of the glitz and the glamour. Mine are fixed firmly on 20 years down the road when you’re sat with your grandchildren re-living the best day of your life.
4/6 Every element of your wedding day has been chosen meticulously to represent you guys as a couple. It’s my job to not only capture the obvious. The flowers, the location etc – but also the unseen. The hand written notes, the to-do lists, the end of the night wine stained table linens and chocolate stained shirts that go so much further to telling the story of your day.
EVERY DETAIL
5/6 This is typically one thing that many of my couple’s don’t really look forward to. The results – Yes. The process – No. My response is always simple. If you can walk from A to B. If you can sit and communicate with your new husband / wife, then I can deliver you a series of incredible couple’s portraits. The worst thing I can think of is that you’ll look at your wedding photographs in 20 years time and think that they don’t really look authentic. You don’t want to be touching faces or looking off into the distance in full Titanic style. I’ll provide the subtle direction but it’s not about posing. It’s about you guys being dressed up to the nines and looking incredibly natural together.

6/6 After dark my images usually take a shift. Typically when the meal ends and the evening begins. I want your party to look like the party it was and not like a staged set of prom photos. It may not feel as luxurious as the rest of the day but I’m also here for the ugly as well as the beautiful. The spills, the limbs, the end of the night dance offs. Close up, raw, rugged and wild.
