GENERAL QUESTIONS

This completely depends on when you need me. My Core Photography and Video package offer complete coverage so typically I’ll begin in the morning, shooting some of your preparations and then continuing through until everyone is going crazy on the dance floor. If you’re interested in the Micro option, coverage is capped at 4 hours but it’s completely up to you how you utilise the time.

Yes, you can book any combination of the services seen above. I’ve provided both the photography and video together for hundreds of weddings of the last 17 years. My event portraiture service also runs independently to any existing Photo bookings you may have already made. 

I’m always there! (Philip). If you only book Photography then I’m your photographer. If you only book Video, it’s the same – I’ll be the guys who shoots it. If you book a joint Photo / Video / Portrait package then I’ll build a team based around your exact needs.

I generally only shoot around 10-12 weddings each year depending on how much travel is involved. This smaller number allows me to give my complete creative attention to each wedding. It also means that you don’t need to wait months to see the results.

I’m a brand ambassador for Leica so I shoot with a combination of their Q, M and SL range.

I invented hybrid 🙂 But sadly these days it’s not something I recommend. I just don’t honestly think that it’s possible to single handedly complete two jobs simultaneously without sacrificing the quality of one discipline.

Only if it’s absolutely required. If you need me in two places at once or if you have over 200 guests then it’s something to think about. I’d say that 99% of the weddings I’ve shot over the last 17 years have been done so single handed. 

I honestly try and keep them forever. My studio is full of hard drives that I still regularly have to revisit regardless of the year. 

Absolutely. Just let me know before your event if you want me to keep your day completely private and ‘off-line’. I’m a huge respecter of people’s privacy.

I’m based in the UK but I’ve covered weddings in over 30 different countries across the world. Distance isn’t an obstacle.

Unless otherwise agreed then UK travel is included within the above costs. For overseas travel I ask that you provide flights, a basic room for the duration of the stay and a means to travel back and forth to the events. I’ll always work with my couples to provide a cost effective travel solution and I’m happy to book everything independently or to leave this in the hands of you or your wedding planner.

For Full Day packages the deposit is £1000 and for Micro options it’s £500

The full remaining balance is always due 30 days before the event.

Absolutely, just let me know in advance and I can create a secure payment link for you. It may occasionally be the case that I’ll need to add a small credit card processing fee but I’llll always discuss this with my couple’s first.

It’s incredibly simple. Once you decide to go ahead, I’ll send you a link to my online booking form. Once completed this will generate a deposit invoice which I’ll forward to you immediately. The moment I have both of these through then the date is officially secure. The whole thing can be done in minutes.

Every wedding is different so there’s never a fixed amount here. For my Full Day wedding packages I always provide a minimum of 500 images but this could be a lot higher depending on what events / activities you have planned. Likewise for my smaller Micro packages I provide a minimum of 200 professionally edited images but again, this could easily increase.

I provide a 50/50 mix of colour and BnW images for you based on how I feel a particular image feels in the edit. All photographs are taken as RAW images however which means that there’s complete flexibility to change things in the future. If there’s a certain image that you’d like to be converted, just let me know and I’ll get it re-processed for you.

Typically I start the edits immediately so it’s quite common for you to receive everything within a week or two at the maximum.

I’ll generally try and shoot some complimentary drone images throughout the day although this is completely reliant on a number of factors. The weather, the schedule, if the venue allows etc etc. If you’re getting married outside then I obviously want to capture that ‘Hero shot’ of the entire scene. Otherwise, it will just be some lovely establishing drone photography of the venue. 

I can indeed. I can either cover the entire wedding analogue or I can bring a film camera and shoot however many additional rolls of film you need me to. I simply ask you to cover the cost of the film and the processing. Alternatively I can arrange for a second photographer to attend and shoot either completely digital or on film.

I do. But, it’s like asking How Long is a piece of string? There’s unlimited choices. From paper stock, sizes, cover material etc etc Albums (including design) begin from £800 however the best thing to do is chat with me about the kind of things that you like the sound of. I’m always happy to guide you with this step.
